About Us

Our mission is to be a living expression of Jesus Christ. We believe that we are called to be Christ's representatives in the world -- His hands and feet, continuing His work in the world. We express Christ in three main ways: 1) in our communion with God, through worship and the Word, 2) in our community of believers -- our fellowship that offers real relationships and accountability, and 3) our commission to make disciples of all nations.

Creekside Community Church began in 1998 with a small group, supported by Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church and the Mile High Baptist Association. Creekside met in various locations in Elizabeth until the fall of 2010, when we were able to move into our permanent building at 36100 County Road 13. The late 1990s and early 2000s were difficult times for new churches, but God's hand has been upon Creekside. Today, the church continues to find new ways to challenge people to connect their lives with Christ and to serve Him and our community.

Creekside Community Church is a self-governing body of believers that cooperates for missions with the Mile High Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist Convention.
